Nun erfolgt der Wärmeaustausch, da das heiße Gas die Wärme an das durch die Spule zirkulierende, kühlere Poolwasser abgibt. Das Poolwasser wird wärmer und das heiße Gas kühlt, während es durch die Kondensatorspule fließt ab, kehrt in seine flüssige Form zurück. Nachdem es durch das Expansionsventil geflossen ist, beginnt der ganze Prozess erneut.
