My mistake is your gain. I ordered the wrong unit. I ordered a Propane version of this heater instead of a natural gas version. This unit is brand new. The pool technician took it out of the box, but obviously never installed it as it was to wrong type of unit for my pool. The ASME Pool/Spa Heaters 206A-406A are for commercialinstallations. They feature an All-Copper-Fin-Tube Heat Exchanger, CondensationProtection, and PolyTuf Textured Powder Coating. Some local codes require that public pools, pools that arein a condominium and apartment or other commercial application be ASMEcertified. ASME stands for American Society of Mechanical Engineers. They are anon-profit group which sets many industrial and manufacturing standards. A poolheater that is made to ASME standards will perform to a set of specificationsas determined by ASME, specifically in relation to the operating water pressurethe appliance can handle. Each and every ASME heat exchanger that goes into aRaypak heater is certified by a state inspector to make sure it complies withthe ASME code for that particular product. PolyTuf Textured Powder Coating. The Raypak gas heater has a polyester-coated, non-corrosivecabinet that is more durable than solvent-borne and water-borne coated metalcabinets.
