WHAT SIZE SYSTEM DO I NEED? The most relevant aspect of sizing a system is based on the square footage of your pool. We typically recommend anywhere from 50%-100% solar panel to pool square foot coverage based on a number of different variables including, weather, shade, install direction, wind, climate region, performance expectations, etc. For example, if your pool is 500 square feet, then 50% coverage would be 250 square feet of panels, 75% coverage would be 375 square feet of panels, etc. From there it is selecting a panel size that fits your installation area. An individual tube design allows riser tubes to expand and contract independently; eliminating cracks and leaks due to wear and tear from thermal expansion and contraction. Low head-loss riser tubes eliminate high head pressures, maximize efficiency, and protect against clogging. ROOF FRIENDLY: An innovative mounting system minimizes roof connections, making it the most roof-friendly system available. An individual tube design allows the roof to breathe, preventing moisture buildup and virtually eliminate wind loads. (1) Single Piece Construction. Manufactured using a patented over-molding process, whereby the headers and risers become one piece of plastic. Produces the strongest possible connection and ensures a low maintenance system. No seams or welds means no stress or age cracks, allowing SwimJoy to withstand very high temperatures and burst pressures. A unique square header shape maximizes flow and increases efficiency. (2) Individual Riser Tubes. Enables the roof to breathe, preventing moisture buildup. Virtually eliminates wind loads (certified to withstand strong storm winds). Tubes expand and contract independently, eliminating cracks and leaks that can develop as a result of wear and tear from thermal expansion and contraction. Low head-loss riser tubes eliminate high head pressures, maximize efficiency and protect against clogging. Engineered with a round tube design to capture more heat. Install solar pool heating panels to the total coverage area relevent in one (1) “bank”. If the system is being broken-up into multiple arrays additional parts will be required. Mount solar collectors to your preferred installation surface; roof or rack. Make water connections to and from each collector. Make water connections to the systems supply and return plumbing lines. The pipe adapters connecting the system piping to the collectors are high temperate CPVC. Contains the parts necessary to aid in gravity drainage of the panels and piping.
