I used it for about 2 months with my 10,000 gallon above ground pool and it worked NICELY! Here in Kentucky, it would raise the water temperature about 1 degree per hour. I was losing about. 5 degrees over night (without rain on average), so it would run around 30 minutes to an hour each day to keep the pool at the set temp, (82 degrees). I got this heater because my wife was pregnant throughout the summer and it just helped her to more easily get in and enjoy the pool. She had the baby on 10/31. Who knows, they may not even want to keep the pool? UPS will be the carrier. This unit is not light. The picture of this actual unit is included in this listing.
