This is a great opportunity to add solar to your pool for less than 1/3 the cost of a new system. I replaced my roof recently and I have decided not to re-install the Pool Solar System because our kids are grown, and we are not using the pool year-round like we used to. All the mounting hardware is NEW and has never been used. The panels are eight years old. The panels do not leak, there are no cracks, or signs of damage. One panel has a flexible opening for a plumbing or dryer vent (see photo in comments). This is a Heliocol design feature and does not affect the system performance. The panel tubes can easily be straightened by installing a new spacer (or switching out one of the existing ones, see photo).
